Brooklyn Poets is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization celebrating and cultivating the poets, poetry and literary heritage of Brooklyn, and one way we do that is by supplying the right swag. All proceeds from our swag sales go toward funding our programs, such as the
Brooklyn Poets Reading Series, which is free and open to the public and for which we
pay poets to read, and fellowships for our
workshops, so promising students in need can take them for free. So every time you buy something from our store, you help us pay poets and make access to poetry free.
